This Refund Policy sets forth the terms governing refunds for airport transfer bookings made through Lankawayfinder Pvt Limited (“we,” “our,” “the Company”). By booking with us, you (“Client”) accept this policy as an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

  • Down Payment Requirement:
    All airport transfer bookings require a non-refundable down payment of 20% of the total ride amount at the time of booking.
  • Booking Confirmation:
    Upon receipt of the down payment, clients will receive a confirmation and pro-forma invoice via email, indicating the advance paid and the outstanding balance due.
  • Full Payment for Late Bookings:
    Bookings made less than 7 days prior to the arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1. Non-Refundable Down Payment

  • The 20% down payment made at the time of booking is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or change.

3.2. Cancellations

  • If a booking is cancelled after down payment or full payment, the 20% down payment will not be refunded.
  • For bookings less than 7 days before arrival (requiring full payment), only the amount beyond the non-refundable down payment may be refunded, subject to review at the sole discretion of Lankawayfinder Pvt Limited.

3.3. No-Show Policy

  • No refund will be issued in the event of a no-show or failure to present at the designated pick-up location and time.

3.4. Exceptional Circumstances

  • Requests for refunds due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., government travel bans, natural disasters, documented medical emergencies) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation must be provided.

4. Refund Request Procedure

  • To initiate a refund request:

    • Include your booking reference, full name, contact information, and reason for the refund request.
  • Approved refunds (excluding the non-refundable down payment) will be processed to the original method of payment.
  • Please note: Any bank or remittance charges associated with refunds will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Lankawayfinder Pvt Limited reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Amendments will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
